Recent Southland graduate, Siage Batten, signed his letter of intent on Tuesday to continue his basketball career with Brewton Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia. Saige is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Duane Batten of Americus.  Saige was a two-year starter for the Raider basketball team.  He set a school record this season with the most free throws made in a season (153).  Head coach Rundy Foster said, " Saige was a tremendous asset for our program these last two years.  He will be missed, but we wish him the best in his future endeavors."  Congratulations to Saige and his family.  Raider Nation hopes you have great success as a BP Baron!
