Pictured are 5th Grade Students showing off pajamas for the Pajama Drive

Southland Academy Lower School students in 2nd - 5th grade participated in a pajama drive benefiting children in foster care in Sumter County.  Through the generosity of our community and the Southland families, the students collected 75 pairs of pajamas in all sizes.  The pajamas were donated to Called to Care and DFCS.  Under the direction of fourth and fifth grade science teacher Pam Buchanan, the pajama drive is conducted between Thanksgiving and Christmas and serves as a wonderful opportunity for the young Raiders to display kindness, compassion, and a true heart for others.
