Southland students have a new raised garden on campus. Science teachers, Rosalind Gatian and Alison Humphrey, had the idea to create the garden after returning from their study abroad trip to Costa Rica last summer. Upper school students are responsible for helping care for the garden with tasks such as planting, watering, and harvesting. The project was made possible from donations by the Southland Garden & Science Club, Art Club, and Oakcrest Lumber Company.
