Thank you to all of the parents who ordered from Scholastic this year! Scholastic Books is  company that offers age appropriate books for your child to order from school. For each dollar spent the teacher earns a point to buys supplies for their classroom. 

This year parents have ordered enough books for the kindergarten class to "purchase" some new toys for the classroom. Three wildly popular toys ordered were Magna-Tiles, Candy Construction and Tumble Trax. Candy Construction  is a building set that allows children to construct a 3D model using connectors and sticks.  

Tumble Trax is a magnetic marble run that was voted Toy of the Year for 2016. There are cards in this game that include the parts needed to build the track and have their marble flow successfully to the bottom.

The third and most popular new learning toy is Magna-Tiles.  The set purchased has 32 pieces of different shapes including squares, rectangles and triangle. This toy is so popular with the kids that a second one has been ordered! Thank you again for purchasing from Scholastic Books which has allowed kindergarten to "purchase with points"  these stimulating new toys for the children at no additional cost to the school!
