I grew up in Americus, Georgia and graduated from Southland Academy. I attended Georgia Southwestern State University where I earned a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education.

I'm married to William. We just celebrated our 18^th wedding anniversary. We have 2 daughters here at Southland. Annslee is a 10^th grader and Adalyn is a87^th grader.

As a family, we enjoy traveling to the beach and the mountains. We love baseball and are big fans of Georgia football. My family loves worshipping at Central Baptist Church in Americus.

As I enter my 19th year of teaching and embrace these second graders, it is my goal to foster them to grow spiritually, academically, physically and socially. I'm looking forward to a great school year.
