My name is Kristy Gardner Swinson. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 30 years. I have two girls: Hanah Swinson Taylor (age 27) and Hayle Swinson (age 26). I have a three year old grandson who is the star attraction of my life. I graduated from GSW in 2011 with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education for grades Pre K-5th. I enjoy teaching and working with kids. I had a teacher in 5th grade that instilled in me the love of learning and helped create the person I have become today.

I will be the Elementary Art teacher this year. I enjoyed this position last year, and I loved watching the students achieve something that they thought was not obtainable.

I also am the Kindergarten aide in the mornings and tutor children after school.
