I attended Georgia Southwestern Southwestern State University to earn a Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education.  I also attended Georgia Southwestern to obtain a Masters Degree in Elementary Education.

I began teaching Kindergarten in 2001 at L.K. Moss Primary School in Marion County.  In 2007, I began teaching at Schley County Elementary.  While at Schley, I taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade.  This is my third year teaching at Southland Academy.

I am from Richland, Georgia and have lived there since the age of 4.  I am married to Todd Ivey and our children are Ellis(22) and Anna Kate(18).  I have been teaching for 19 years.  I attend Central Baptist Church.
