My content certifications are in mathematics, science, language arts, reading, and gifted education for grades 4-8.

Upon graduating from GSW, I worked as the accountant for the Georgia Southwestern State University Foundation. After I received my teaching certification I taught sixth-grade math for two years at Sumter County Middle School. I then transferred to Webster County and taught sixth-grade Earth Science, Reading, and Language Arts for one year. I spent three years teaching middle school Science and Math in Marion County. I stayed home with my son for several years before returning to teach Science and Math in Americus at Furlow Charter School. I have taught two years at Southland as the fourth and fifth grade math teacher.
