I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia. After completing high school, I attended Valdosta State University for two years. I finished my bachelor's degree at Georgia Southwestern University. I received my master's degree  from Georgia College and State University. I am married to Bo Short and we have two married children and four grandchildren who presently attend Southland.
