The 2016-17 school year marks the 50th anniversary for Southland Academy. The past and the present came together for a celebration Saturday at the 50th Gala held at the Griffin Bell Golf Course and Conference Center. One of the highlights of the evening was having the former headmasters join current headmaster, Ty Kinslow, for a group picture. The first headmaster, Mr. T. Murphy Manus (1967-1971), was unable to attend. Thank you to all who made the event possible.
