Varsity Clay Target Team Competed in State

The Varsity Clay Target team competed in the GISA State Tournament on November  22-23, 2019, at Forest City Gun Club in Savannah, GA.  There were a total of 369 varsity shooters competing in the 2-day tournament with each shooter completing 100 rounds in each of the three disciplines:  skeet, trap and sporting clays.  The top Southland varsity shooter was Jack Stapleton with Tanner Pritchett finishing 2nd.  Will Perry finished 3rd with Blake Goodin finishing 4th and Brock Gurley finished 5th.  These top five shooters finished with > 200 points for the two days.

Varsity Clay Target team consists of Seniors:  Tanner Pritchett and Will Perry; Juniors: Jack Stapleton, Blake Goodin, Ben Cook, Collins Bass and Haleigh Warren; Sophomores: Brock Gurley and Lily Chapman, and Freshman: Kendall Warren.
