Southland Academy K3 student, Harper Greene is proud to be an astronaut!

Southland Academy K3 is full STEAM ahead!  The curriculum for the three-year kindergarten classes includes STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math) activities each month.  During September the young Raiders have been learning about and exploring space.  No space study is complete without astronauts.  Each student had the opportunity to feel like a real astronaut while learning about space, and the students were very excited to wear an astronaut jumpsuit.  The Southland K3 teachers, Ms. Cindy Cromer and Mrs. Lori Bell provide materials, experiences, and opportunities for children to explore, discover, and be curious.
