Recently, the Southland Academy K3 students welcomed Officer Jamie Collier from the Georgia State Patrol as a guest for the Community Helpers curriculum. He explained to the students what to do and how to act if they were to get lost from their parents or grandparents in a store. After discussing car safety, Officer Collier took the students outside to let them look at the patrol car. The young Raiders were thrilled that Office Collier turned on the lights and sirens for them. Hunter Collier was proud to have his father visit Southland Academy as a guest for Community Helpers’ Week.
