Mary Nell Rush is enjoying CIP at Sumter County Primary.

Southland Academy is pleased to include a Career Interest Program (CIP) as part of the curriculum for high school seniors.  This program, established during the 1975-76 school year, affords students a practical learning experience and a first-hand view of a career field of their choice. 

The Career Interest Program is a one-week experience designed to give the student a close-up look at a particular career with as much actual responsibility and job activity as possible.  The ultimate goal of this program is, of course, to assist students in making a career choice.  The Career Interest Program will take place for all seniors during the 5-day period beginning on  Monday, January 30, 2017, and ending on Friday, February 3, 2017.
