The best time of each runner and the composite times for top 5 runners on the team are needed. Please send composite times to abell@southlandacademy.org by Wednesday (10/24). Please have your athletes entered on this page by Wednesday (10/24) at midnight. The 5K (3.1 mile) course has a long spectator friendly start followed by two loops in the wooded section and a long spectator friendly finish at the football stadium.
The course will be open for inspection on Friday morning by 10am and before 9am on Saturday. The address for Southland Academy is 123 Southland Road, Americus, GA 31709.
Restrooms are indicated on the maps. Port-a-johns will be available between the team tents and the Starting line.
No dressing rooms are available. Concessions will be available at the meet. Hospitality area for coaches will be in the press box near your tent area. GISA State XC Championship t-shirts will be provided by Eagle Sportz.

The teams in this Region are Brookwood, Deerfield, Southland, Tiftarea, and Valwood. Each team should enter all of its eligible varsity athletes. All-Region Awards are given to the top ten individual finishers. The top four teams qualify for State. In addition, the top ten individual finishers also qualify for State even if their teams did not qualify. Team trophies are given to the Region Champ and the Region Runner-up. Qualifying Teams and Individuals are responsible for entering the State Meet in accordance with the GISA rules and instructions. *Team tents may be placed above the bleachers of the football field. *Restrooms are located at the football field and also at the baseball field. The Baldwin High School and Oak Hill Middle School Cross Country Teams would like to invite you to our 2nd Annual Braves HS/MS XC Invitational. The meet will be held on Council Farms. Council Farms is the home course for Ga. College and State University. The course hosted the 2016 Peach Belt Conference Championships. It is a beautiful piece of property which offers flat lands as well as a few hills, the course should provide fast times for your athletes and its fan friendly for your parents.
FAST FEET TIMING WILL BE DOING CHIP TIMING.
ALL SCHOOLS ARE INVITED!

Please note that the Cross Country meet is NOT on Baldwin High's campus. The meet will be held at the "Council Farm" located at 36565 C T Lord Highway, Milledgeville, Georgia 31061. That address get's you close. The course is located on the northwest side of the T intersection formed by Council McCranie Road and State Route 112. There is a $5 parking charge for each vehicle, this will cover admission for everyone in the vehicle. Please make parents and fans aware of this fee.

High School Boys- 9:45
Middle School Girls- 10:30
Middle School Boys- 11:00
When registering New Division 1 is for middle schools and New Division 2 is high school.
All awards will be handed out at the end of the middle school races.

The entry fee for the meet is $60 per school and $25 for those only entering a middle school team. Make the check payable to Deerfield-Windsor Cross Country. Race day payment is accepted.

The meet will be held at the Monroe County Recreation Center in Forsyth, GA. 100 Dan Pitts Drive, Forsyth, GA 31029. The course is located less than a mile off interstate 75 exit 188.

Come join us for the second annual Hornet Hustle... Saturday, October 16th at 10:00 AM Estimated Times: Varsity Girls-10a and Varsity Boys-10:40a; JV Girls-11:15a and JV Boys-11:35a Brief Awards Ceremony To Follow Last Race. We welcome both Varsity and JV teams. A comprehensive $25 entry fee will cover all teams (girls' and boys' varsity and girls' and boys' JV), so bring them all! You may run an unlimited number of runners in each race. The coaches' meeting will take place at 9:30 AM (but maybe not 9:30 SHARP... my time-management skills are a work in progress). We boast a one-loop, challenging course through field and fauna. Wildlife viewing is a possibility as well... an added bonus with the price of admission (free). Medals will go to the top ten finishers in each race and trophies will go to the top three teams in each race. For your convenience, we will have concessions for young and old and tee shirts available from Eagle Sportz for any runners or attendees. The Coaches' Hospitality "Lounge" will be open and provide you will a variety of goodies and friendly service from the Westfield Cross Country Moms. As you know, October is a spectacular month in which to hold a cross country event and we are happy to provide your teams with a spectacular experience! Please fill out the registration forms below and submit your rosters on or before October 9th. You may provide them as an email attachment to wbryan@westfieldschool.org. We hope to see you at the race!
