Tammi Riddle Johnston ‘79 lives in Leslie, Georgia, and attended Georgia Southwestern State University, where she received a BS in nursing; and Walden University, earning a MS in nursing with certification in inpatient obstetrics. She is employed with Phoebe Sumter Hospital and is an adjunct faculty member at Georgia Southwestern State University. Tammi is married to Charlie Johnson who owns Johnson Realty Group. They have two granddaughters who attend Southland, Kagan, age 14; and Brylie, 10. She and her family enjoy trips to their second home in the north Georgia mountains where they like motorcycle riding and trail hiking. She also enjoys collecting and reselling antique jewelry.

 

 

 

 

 

Cindy Strickland Robinson ‘79 attendedGeorgia Southwestern and is a semi-retired social worker with the Department of Family and Children Services. She is currently employed part time as a safety reviewer for child abuse/neglect cases in Locust Grove, Georgia, where she and her husband George reside. George is employed with Michelin North America. Cindy and George have two grown children, Kevin, 27; and Kristin, 21; and a grandson named Max, who Cindy describes as her joy. Cindy enjoys being “Grandma”, cleaning neglected cabinets and closets, cruising, and her travels to Pennsylvania, Tennessee, the beach, and her many trips back to Americus to visit her parents.

 

 

 

 

 

Lauren Turner ‘80 resides in Bainbridge, Georgia, and attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and Valdosta State University.  She is employed as the director of Bainbridge High School New Beginnings Learning Center. Lauren enjoys woodwork, painting, and photography, having had several prize winning photographs. She is a member of the Board of Firehouse Arts Gallery, Decatur County Department of Family and Children’s Services (Chair), the Decatur County Historical Society, the Bainbridge Housing Authority, the Decatur County Artist’s Guild, First United Methodist Church, Bainbridge Community Band, and is a patron for the Bainbridge Little Theatre, and the Quincy Music Theatre.

 

 

Richard (Richman) Greene ‘83 attended Georgia State University, earning a BS in hospitality administration. Richard and his wife, Sandy, live in Marietta, Georgia, where Richard is the owner of Outrageous Wraps Catering, and Sandy works with the Cobb County Schools. They have two children, Kanyon Evelyn, 10; and Cedar Parker, 8.

 

 

 

 Sage Williams Archer ‘87 resides in Valdosta, Georgia, and is the director of events at Valdosta State University. She has a daughter, Addison, age 18. Sage enjoys spending time with family and friends.

 

 

 

Stephen Summers ‘87 attended Auburn University and is employed with Scott Bridge Company in Opelika, Alabama. He and his wife, Weatherly, live in Auburn, Alabama, and have three children, Virginia Frances, age 19; Wells, age 17; and Thomas, age 14.

 

 

 

Heather Halstead Rhodes ’87 and her husband, Craig, live in Albany, Georgia, and have two children, Casey, age 22, who attends Georgia Southern; and Ashley, age 20, who attends Kennesaw State University. Heather is employed with the Lee County School System as an elementary teacher, and Craig is a PE/weight training instructor, defensive coordinator/assistant head football coach, and boys track coach at Deerfield-Windsor School. Heather attended Georgia Southwestern State University where she received her undergraduate degree and EdS, and earned and MEd at Troy State University. She has taught school for 25 years and was Lee County Elementary School Teacher of the Year in 2010. She served on the 2014 McGraw/Hill Milestones data review team (Science) for the State of Georgia, is grade chair at Lee County Elementary School for the years 2004-06, 2008-09, and 2012-15. Heather enjoys exercising, reading, watching sports, and spending as an empty-nester with her husband.

 

 

 

Lisa Durham Duke ‘88 and her husband, Jason, who is self-employed, reside in Byron, Georgia. Lisa is a special education teacher at Feagin Mill Middle School in Warner Robins, Georgia. She attended Georgia Southwestern State University. Lisa and Jason have four children, Austin, 20; Hunter, 17;

 

Cole, 14;  and Maggie, 11. Lisa enjoys canning, cooking, gardening, and children’s football and baseball games.

 

 

 

Sherri Bentley Martin ’88 and her husband, Bill Martin ’88 live in Oglethorpe, Georgia, with their three children, Reid, 15; Warner, 10; and Tate, 8. Sherri attended the University of Georgia and is a freelance writer. Bill is employed with Imerys Refractory Materials. Sherri enjoys homeschooling her sons, reading, cooking, canning, gardening, directing VBS and leading Awana at her church, writing, and cheering for her Georgia Bulldogs, but not necessarily in that order. She and Bill love country life with their boys, dogs, and chickens.

 

 

 

Monica Kyle ’91 lives in St. John, Virgin Islands and is employed with SpecialtyCare, Inc. as an IT Director of Development. Monica enjoys traveling, boating, swimming, snorkeling, diving, and “pretty much anything water or travel related.

 

 

 

William Dye ‘94 resides in Kevil, Kentucky, and is a mechanical engineer. He attended Florida State University.

 

 

 

Jay Anderson ’04 attended Georgia southwestern State University and is employed with Alfa Insurance in Americus, Georgia, where he resides with his wife, Amanda. Amanda is the office manager at Chandler-Morgan Eyeworks. The couple enjoys their college group at Cornerstone Church, and attending Florida State football games. They like to travel and visit Amanda’s family in Virginia.

 

 

 

Alex Riccardi ’06 graduated summa cum laude from Reinhart University in 2010 with a bachelor of science degree in biology. Alex played softball at Reinhart for 3 years and was awarded second team All AAC her junior year, and the Character of Champion award. She then attended Georgia Regents University and received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 2015. She served as vice president of Operation Smile her second and third year of dental school, and was also involved with Dentists for Della, The American Student Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Association Law Day. Alex resides in Americus, Georgia, and is an associate with Louis A. Riccardi DDS. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, running, being involved with softball, and attending UGA football games.
