On October 9, 2015, Southland celebrated the great accomplishments of the 1980’s State Champion athletes by welcoming them back to our campus for a reception in their honor, and to be recognized at half-time of the Raiders home football game. During those 10 years, the Southland Raiders won several state championships in football, swimming, boys basketball, girls basketball, golf, baseball, softball, girls track, and boys track. The 1980’s were very special years in the history of Southland Academy, and the Southland family was honored to have 30 of these athletes back on campus.
