Southland Academy Alumni Basketball Games

Approximately 40 of our alumni basketball players dusted off their basketball shoes, stretched their muscles, and joined us for an alumni basketball game! The game on Friday, November 19, 2010 in the Melvin T. Kinslow Gymnatorium was a huge success and a wonderful experience for all who participated or came to spectate.

This event was an effort to raise funds for the Raiders and Lady Raiders basketball teams and we thank everyone who came out to see our alumni play and to support our current basketball teams. What a great time it was for us all to get back together, reminisce, and play a fun game of basketball, as well. 

The Alumni Association provided each participant with a t-shirt to commemorate the games, compliments of Global Graphics. Our thanks goes to Jerry and his team at Global Graphics for their support! And, thanks to Dawn Shattles for taking photos of the event.
