I have enjoyed teaching elementary school for 23 years and have taught kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade.  I've taught in public and private schools and love teaching the younger grades.  I wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl and am so thankful my dream came true!  My first grade teacher was one of my favorite teachers, and I was fortunate enough to teach with her for a few years!  

I am from Albany and have lived there my whole life other than my time in Athens for college. GO DAWGS!! I am married to Jay and we have two daughters - Mary Adelaide who will be a 7th grader and Lanier who will be a 5th grader.  We have 2 kitty cats named Marjorie and Maisy and a puppy dog named Sadie.  We love being part of the Southland family and are proud to be RAIDERS!  I love to read, go to the beach, shop and am very involved in our church, Porterfield United Methodist.
