 I am proud to be a Southland Raider.

I attended Southland Academy from K-6th grade in Montezuma and 7th-12th grade in Americus and then graduated in 1984.  I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Auburn University and a Masters of Education from Albany State University.  I have loved working at Southland for 22 years, and I have been a faculty member of the GISA for 27 years.

I married Ty Kinslow, whom I met in middle school at Southland Academy, and we have two children.  Our son works with J. Smith Lanier and lives in Opelika, AL, and our daughter is a Southland student.

As Lower School Director I am immersed into the daily activities of our students.  It is a pleasure and honor to watch the students grow academically, personally, socially, and spiritually.
